We are currently seeking a skilled sandblasting employee for a company in the Netherlands. The company has more than 40 years of experience in developing and manufacturing machinery for the agricultural and civil engineering industries. These machines are built entirely in-house before being shipped to customers worldwide. The company’s state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with advanced technology, including two welding robots, an automated warehouse, and modern spray and blast cabins.

Job Overview:

As a sandblaster, you will play a crucial role in the production process. Once the steel has been prepared and welded, it will be sent to you for sandblasting. Your primary responsibility will be to blast the steel components to prepare them for further processing, including painting and finishing. You will work closely with the painting team to ensure the final product meets the highest standards of quality and appearance before it is delivered to customers.

You will be an integral part of a team that works together to manufacture top-tier machinery. Your role is essential in ensuring the machines look pristine and are ready for the assembly stage.

Responsibilities:

• Blasting Steel Components: After the steel is welded and prepared, your task will be to clean and smooth the surface of the plates and parts by blasting them.
• Collaboration with Painters: You will work closely with the painters to ensure that the steel is properly prepared for painting and that the final appearance meets the company’s quality standards.
• Ensuring Product Quality: Your work will directly impact the aesthetic and functional quality of the machinery that the company delivers to its global customers.
• Work Schedule: The position is for 5 to 6 days of work per week, depending on your availability. You will be required to work 40 to 45 hours per week, with a standard working day running from 07:00 to 17:00.

Overtime Compensation:

• Hours beyond 40 in a week are compensated at the following rates:
• First 2 hours over 40 hours: 124.1% of the regular hourly rate
• After 42 hours: 141.3% of the regular hourly rate
• Saturday before 14:00: 146.6% of the regular hourly rate
• Saturday after 14:00: 163.8% of the regular hourly rate

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or industry.
• Physical Fitness: The job requires physical labor, so candidates must be physically fit and ready to take on physically demanding tasks.
• Availability: Full-time availability is required for this position.
